Slovakia-wide daily newspapers wrote about us 139 times, their online versions 214 times and news agencies published a total of 101 posts. VIA IURIS was mentioned 54 times in radios and 33 times appeared in Slovak TV channels.
Media paid most attention to the Responsible citizen topic (total of 235 posts). The topic Accountability of judges appared in media 123 times and the Accountability of public officials apperaed 122 times. The most closely followed by media were the Pezinok landfill case (124 posts) and the White Crow Award (61 posts).

Slovakia-wide daily newspapers (including their online versions) wrote about us 259 times, 133 reports were by information / news agencies, our experts appeared 47 times in radios and 24 times in Slovak TV channels.
Out of our program areas, the media paid most attention to the following: public control of power and its decision-making, access to information, judiciary and access to justice, transparent management of public resources and property. The most closely followed topics included: the Pezinok landfill, cases of restricting public access to information, support of judges promoting independence and transparency of decision-making of our courts, legislative amendment proposals and criticism of decisions made by public officials that were contrary to the public interest.
In 2009 VIA IURIS was one of the most quoted NGOs in the media.
2008
In 2008, 31 media published 216 non-commmercial (unpaid) broadcasts / articles mentioning the activities of VIA IURIS. Most of them were published by Slovakia-wide daily newspapers and by their online versions that reported about us 108 times, press agency news included 59 reports about VIA IURIS in this period, and radios and TVs published 49 broadcasts.
