Each reform in society embraces a complexity of relations between citizens and public authorities. We contribute to legal reform by three forms: by organizing annual Public Interest Law Conference for diversified forum of legal professionals; by implementing seminars on human rights for judges, judicial candidates and high court officials; and by supporting positive legislative changes of NGOs.

Conference “Access to Justice – Barriers and Solutions”

We have focused on the identification of barriers that prevent citizens to access justice. The aim of our conferences is to seek systemic solutions to the identified barriers.

Seminars for Judges, Judicial Candidates and High Court Officials

In the years 2000-2004 VIA IURIS, in cooperation with the District court in Žilina, implemented a pilot education set of seminars. These seminars combined professional development in selected legal areas and personal development of participants.
