Legislation

We provide assistance to civic organizations in their effort to formulate progressive legislative proposals in the field of human and citizen’s rights.

We focus on the following areas:

• Implementation of the Aarhus Covenant to the system of law in Slovakia to provide for effective access to information, public participation in decision-making and access to justice in environmental matters.
• Broadening of legal standing in proceedings with impact on quality of life and enabling citizens to influence the outcome of such proceedings.
• Establishing a just system of expropriation, adequate compensation and implemented by independent and impartial authorities.
