VIA IURIS has officialy announced the results of the 1st year of the Open Law Award, the competition of innovative ideas.

Quo vadis justice, or what political parties offer in terms of judiciary for the next four years

VIA IURIS which focuses on the reform of judiciary has analyzed election programs of political parties competing in this year's parliamentary elections. We tried to find out how the political parties deal with the issue of judiciary, which problems they focus on and what solutions do they offer.

The government has not fulfilled its promise: judicial decisions are still not public

VIA IURIS has evaluated the Manifesto of the Government of the Slovak Republic and how has the government fulfilled its promises in terms of the public control over judiciary and disclosure of courts' decisions. We stress that even if the government in its manifesto in 2006 promised to secure the "public control over judiciary by continuos disclosure of the decision of courts on all levels", the promise was not fulfilled.
