Inspection of the Slovak Ministry of the Interior has grossly violated law in the investigation of police intervention during the visit of the Chinese President

The Ministry of Interior has concluded the invetsigation of the police intervention during the visit of the Chinese President. According to the Ministry, police has not violated any law. VIA IURIS is strongly outraged by the approach of the Ministry. Its reply consists of empty and vague phrases, while concrete evidence remains unanswered.

Constitutional Court: Regional Court failed to protect the right of assembly during the Chinese President visit

The Constitutional Court of the Slovak Republic decided that the Regional Court in Bratislava has violated the constitutional right of Ondrej Dostál to assemble during the last year's visit of the Chinese president to Slovakia.

The land use plan for Vysoké Tatry in court

The group of town Vysoké Tatry citizens sues the land use plan, which was adopted by the municipality in February 2010. According to the citizens, the plan was adopted unlawfully and hence its impacts seriously interfere with their lives and properties they decided to file a complaint against it.
